| Hi, and welcome! I've completed about three fourths of the first draft of what I hope will become Just One Look, a sequel to Against the Wind. This is from Drew's point of view, as he's getting ready for his sister's (Blair's) wedding to Michael. I posted the first six sentences of the novella last week. Please take a look if you missed that. Comments are welcome. Here are today's six: Other than his sister, mother and grandmother, his own family--God help them all, Uncle Benjamin at a wedding--was too much. Michael's family, whom he'd met last night at the rehearsal dinner, seemed nice, friendly. The younger sister, over the top bubbly, had exhausted him. The older one should have been seated next to Uncle Benjamin. Well, they were Blair's problem, not his. Be sure to check out other Six Sunday participants at Six Sunday for some great very short reads. |
