A big thank you! to the ladies who've maintained it. Many thanks to those of you who stop by. This has been a way to force myself to take a close look at my unpublished work--a microscopic close look. Now the question is: how can I continue to blog? And if so, what will I call my occasional blog?
My big news is that the story I've been sharing recently, In the Arms of a Stranger, will be an Entangled Publishing Suspense title (Squeee!!). :-) I don't have an exact release date, but more than likely it will be summer of 2013. I'm really excited about this opportunity, and look forward to working with my editor. A few months before the release of the novel, I'll release a novella called Dancing in the Dark, which is a prelude (not a real prequel) to the novel.
So, with a warning that no editorial changes have yet been made, here are six sentences, randomly chosen. Abby's waiting in the car while JP checks out a house they're going to to enter under cover of darkness:
Suddenly, she wanted nothing more than to go home and forget the crazy notion that she could lay her past to rest.
Then she saw him walking toward her. A tall man with a sure stride, shrouded in moonlight, his dark hair gleaming, his face shadowed. Just his walk was enough to make shivers run up her arms. Totally masculine, completely coordinated, at ease with himself. And his life.
