Hi, and welcome!
I've continued work on the first draft of what I hope will become Just One Look, a novella length sequel to Against the Wind. I've posted earlier bits of this for the past three weeks. Please take a look if you missed those. This is from Mia Alvarez' point of view, as she's getting ready for her brother's (Michael's) wedding to Blair, Drew's sister. Drew's POV appeared in my earlier posts. Mia's younger sister Izzy tells Mia that Drew's "nice." Mia speaks first.
“If you like the rich stuck up type.”
“He didn't seem stuck up to me.”
“That's because you were worshiping him like he was some sort of god.” Typical of Izzy and any guy that looked half way decent.
“I was not!”
Izzy's response was also typical, was not a refrain they'd all heard growing up.
Comments are welcome. Be sure to check out other Six Sunday participants at Six Sunday for some great very short reads.
